Twenty-two patients native to Rapa Nui (Easter Island) who suffered from mandibular edentulism were treated with the Nobel Biocare Trefoil™ system over the course of 7 days. 

In the week-long project led by Drs. Kenji Higuchi and Ruben Rosenberg, eleven Rapa Nui natives suffering from mandibular edentulism were successfully treated with the innovative Trefoil system.
